Day 1 Travel Day

After a week of crazy preparation – a last minute trip to Seattle for a lost passport and unplanned dental surgery, we were grateful to have our team intact as we started our journey. The trip started out with a very smoothly. Our planes were all on time, and our connection in El Salvador was actually at the same gate. This was a wonderful as on previous connections in El Salvador we have had to run across the airport. We saw some beautiful lightning over Central America during our flight, which our plane avoided and arrived safely in Managua around 11pm.
